Das Michael Jackson Denkmal in München befindet sich direkt im Zentrum der Stadt, vor dem Bayerischen Hof, einem bekannten Luxushotel.
Das Denkmal selbst ist eigentlich kein offizielles Denkmal, sondern ein improvisiertes Memorial, das von Fans errichtet und über die Jahre gepflegt wurde. Es befindet sich an der Statue des Orlando di Lasso, einem Komponisten des 16. Jahrhunderts, in der Nähe des Promenadeplatzes.
Nach dem Tod von Michael Jackson im Jahr 2009 begannen seine Fans, Blumen, Kerzen, Bilder und andere Erinnerungsstücke an dieser Stelle niederzulegen, da der „King of Pop“ oft im Bayerischen Hof übernachtet hatte, wenn er in München war. Seitdem wurde das Denkmal kontinuierlich von Jackson-Fans aus der ganzen Welt besucht und erweitert. Trotz der inoffiziellen Natur wird es von vielen als eine bedeutende Gedenkstätte angesehen.

After Michael Jackson's death in 2009, his fans began laying flowers, candles, pictures and other memorabilia at this spot, as the "King of Pop" had often stayed at the Bayerischer Hof when he was in Munich. Since then, the memorial has been continuously visited and expanded by Jackson fans from all over the world. Despite its unofficial nature, it is considered by many to be a significant memorial site.
The city of Munich tolerated the memorial, and to this day fans regularly come to commemorate Michael Jackson and maintain the memorial.
